WHAT IS "GROWTH MINDSET", ANYWAY?

The term "Growth Mindset" was first developed by a psychologist named Carol Dweck. A mindset is a way in which we view ourselves. People who possess a growth mindset believe that they are capable of attaining difficult goals through determination and hard work. People with a growth mindset also understand that the process of attaining these goals will involve setbacks, and that these setbacks make us stronger!

This year I am encouraging my students to adopt and reflect on their mindset on a daily basis. In order to help them do the same, I am trying to teach them the power of the word "YET".
